G M Mehedi Hossain completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. His educational concentration was on Control System and his research interests are in Semiconductor materials, Biosensors, Internet of Things (IoT) and Micro/Nano scale fabrication. He is a Presidential Research Fellow (PRF) and working as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley- UTRGV.
Tiham Fayez

Tiham Fayaz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, where his undergraduate research focused on renewable energy. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, his research interests encompass energy harvesting, semiconductor materials, biosensors, micro- and nanofabrication, and VLSI design.
Daniel Garza Jr

Daniel Garza Jr receieved his B.Sc. in Electrcial Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley – UTRGV. His focus as an undergraduate student was nanotechnology and nanoelectronics which includes interests and knowledge from chip microfabrication, solid state devices, digital logic design, and electronic materials.

Emilio Chavez

Emilio Chavez is an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering at The University of Rio Grande Valley – UTRGV. His research interests are nanotechnology and early stage cancer detection.

Ariana Alvarez
Ariana Alvarez graduated with a BSc in Computer Engineering from UTRGV in Spring 2024. Currently, she is working as a full-time Product Development Engineer at AMD in Austin.
Jazmin Garza
Jazmin Garza is currently a student at South Texas ISD Science Academy in Mercedes, TX, and will graduate as part of her high school’s Class of 2025. She is passionate about engineering and plans to study either electrical or biomedical engineering. During Fall 2023 and Spring 2024, she worked at NaMaSiS, where she furthered her interest in scientific research. This summer, she is participating in an internship at Rice University.
